Classes

Classes run Monday - Saturday each week and are timetabled according to age/experience and ability.

We welcome new pupils throughout the academic year, and after being assessed they are placed in the class which will suit them best. We always try and accommodate friends in the same class wherever possible.

Younger children are put into classes 30 minutes in length and varying styles of dance are kept to the same day, for example

3-4 year olds Class - Tuesdays 5:00-5:30pm Tap / 5:30-6:00pm Ballet / 6:00-6:30pm Street Dance

Once pupils reach Grade One, the lessons are lengthened to 45 minutes and then again to 60 minutes once they reach Grade Four.

Depending on the age of the pupils and size of class, the teachers are assisted by Assistant Teachers.

These Assistant Teachers are generally pupils of the school who are taking their professional teaching qualifications and have shown the ability to be able to work well with the children.
